Accessibility Statement
We are committed to making IDGAF AI accessible and usable for all learners, regardless of ability or technology. This statement outlines our efforts and how to report issues.
01 Our Commitment
IDGAF AI is built by a student, for students. We believe that every learner deserves access to effective study tools. We are committed to:
Continuously improving the accessibility of our platform.
Ensuring core features are usable with assistive technologies.
Following established web accessibility standards.
Listening to feedback from users with disabilities and acting on it.
02 Standards We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA where feasible. These guidelines cover:
Perceivable — information and UI are presented in ways users can perceive.
Operable — components and navigation are operable by all users.
Understandable — information and UI operation are understandable.
Robust — content can be interpreted reliably by assistive technologies.
We acknowledge that full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance is an ongoing process and we are continuously working toward it.
03 Accessibility Features
Current accessibility features of the platform include:
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements (buttons, links, inputs) are keyboard-focusable.
Focus indicators are visible on interactive elements.
Tab order follows a logical reading sequence.
Visual Design
High contrast dark theme with readable text sizes.
Color is not the sole means of conveying information — icons and labels supplement color indicators.
Responsive layout that works across screen sizes from mobile to desktop.
Scalable text that respects browser zoom settings.
Semantic HTML
Proper heading hierarchy (h1 → h2 → h3) throughout.
ARIA labels on interactive elements where native semantics are insufficient.
Form inputs have associated labels.
Navigation landmarks for screen reader users.
Content
Clear, concise language throughout the platform.
Descriptive link text (avoids "click here").
Error messages identify the issue and suggest correction.

05 Ongoing Improvements
We are continuously working to improve accessibility:
Regular audits of new features for WCAG compliance.
Adding ARIA live regions for dynamic content updates.
Improving keyboard navigation for complex UI components.
Adding skip navigation links.
Testing with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
Providing text alternatives for visual-only content.
06 Report an Accessibility Issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier while using IDGAF AI, we want to hear from you. When reporting, please include:
The page or feature where you encountered the issue.
A description of what happened and what you expected.
The browser and operating system you were using.
Any assistive technology (screen reader, voice control, etc.) you were using.
We aim to respond within 3 business days and resolve accessibility issues as quickly as possible.
